7 Speed Reading Review

When I downloaded 7 Speed Reading, I didn't quite know what to expect. Of course I knew what speed reading was, and indeed had done a course or two in it as well, but I hadn't quite got the results I wanted.

But having downloaded and used 7 Speed Reading, I must say that the software far exceeded my expectations. There were so many activities to train my reading speed, not to mention video training as well, that I was doing a thousand words a minute in no time at all. And since then my reading speed has only continued to increase with practice. I would highly recommend this software.

Let me go over the different aspects of it as well as my impressions of them. The first aspect that makes 7 Speed Reading superior to other speed reading instruction methods that have gone before is the power and intensity of the teaching methods. For example, when you use the software, you will take part in over fifteen activities, instead of the customary three or four of other softwares, training different aspects of your speed reading abilities into a composite whole. The exercises will help you not only to enhance your reading capabilities but will also remove bad reading habits that might be holding you back.

• One such habit is that of sub-consciously forming the words you read with your lips, throat or tongue. This can seriously slow you down, and the  7 Speed Reading Software contains exercises that can help you break this habit.
• Then, other people have the habit of sub-consciously re-reading words or even sentences that they have already read once a second time. As you can imagine, this seriously reduces the speed at which you read. Well, there's no need to worry – there are exercises included in the software to help you defeat this insidious habit.
• A third exercise teaches you 'Fixation' the skill of being able to take in groups of words or even sentences at a time instead of single words. This can massively increase your reading speed while actually enhancing comprehension.

You would think that those exercises would be sufficient for any speed reading software, and indeed most softwares rarely include anything beyond these exercises. Not so 7 Speed Reading – besides the above, the software contains additional exercises for training the eye muscles, as well as exercises designed to help you utilize your brain better. There are even exercises to enhance the functioning of the optic nerve itself.

Yet even the above still class as physical training. The software also boasts mental exercises that aid memory, data processing and understanding. This layered approach to speed reading ensures that no aspect of it is neglected, allowing you to build your skills to unrivaled levels. I was very impressed with the level of effort that has gone into the making of this software. I found it very useful, and think you will too.
